First off, new 
right away. 
You're really making me earn my pay today. First it's almost shocking how the little crooked sapling stands out so prominently considering it's location, but I think the shadow of that majestic stone arch/bridge gives the little thing a bit of a spotlight. Then in the misty light of the background there are all those very tall trees, something for the little guy to aspire too. I also hope that the "dangling tree" on the bridge manages to find its footing (rooting) again.
Even if the colors are a bit on the dark side they're also earthy (near as I can tell), and even in the heavy rain there's a sense of calm out in the middle of the wood. And even if he'll have to wait until the rain passes, at least there's one person getting to enjoy the great rarely-seen bit of nature's beauty.
